ANNUAL RAFFLE AND CLOTHING EXCHANGE

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!
RAFFLE AND CLOTHING EXCHANGE
With Dance in the Desert fast approaching on Nov.13, Liz Healy our intrepid Dance in the Desert coordinator is putting out the call for donations to the Raffle. As many of you know, each year at the Dance in the Desert, a grand raffle is held offering many wonderful services and precious objects that have been donated by all of us. What you might not know is that the proceeds from the raffle provide one of our greatest sources of revenue for our weekly dances here in Tucson. This is your chance to help out. Whether or not you’re going to DITD, bring your donations of wonderful things… art, crafts, wine, food treats, instruments, stuff you don’t need anymore and someone else would love… and services too… massages, lessons, vacations, dog sitting, lawyering, cooking,or whatever. Use your imagination and bring your offerings to the Saturday evening dances or talk to someone on the dance committee. Together we make it happen. Thanks

Add to all that talent our two callers, Cis Hinkle from Georgia and Wendy Graham of
Colorado fame.  Both these ladies have an amazing way to bring enthusiasm and a masterful selection of dances to our camp.

9:00 am Sunday Nov. 4 – Help needed to load the dance floor for Dance in the Desert

Come and help bring our annual Dance in the Desert (DITD) into fruition! Every year with the generous help of  many of our fellow dancers DITD is recreated. This coming Sunday morning we’ll be loading the dance floor panels ,which Dale keeps stored for us, onto a rental truck and taking them up to the Triangle Y Ranch in Oracle. It”s fun to help and many hands make the work light as they say. So come on over to Dale and Loren’s (3227 W. Glenn) this Sunday morning to help load the truck or cheer us on (or feed us?). If you want more, some of  us will be going to the camp to unload the floor as well. The more the merrier. And….. by the way, Thursday is dance set up day at the Triangle Y with an early dance, open to all, featuring The Rhythm Rollers and The Privy Tippers around 7:00. Any questions call me.
